[简介]

    Daniel Hirst教授是国际著名的语言学家和语音学家,主要研究领域包括言语韵律和音系学,是当今国际言语韵律研究领域的首席权威。他出生于英国,1982年加入法国国家科学研究中心,为表彰其在言语韵律学研究方面的突出成就与贡献,1983年法国国家科学院授予他铜质奖章,自2005年以来一直担任法国国家科研中心语音所所长职务,全面主持语音所的各项科研学术工作,2011年被法国教育部及法国国会委任为法国国家科研中心语音所终身名誉所长。现任同济大学讲座教授。

 

学术成就

  在语言韵律、音系学和言语工程等方面开展了在国际上具有相当影响的独创性研究。是语调国际标音系统INTSINT)和自动分析语言韵律软件(Momel)的创始人,该软件均可与全球通用语音分析软件“Praat”紧密结合,并已成为全世界语音学者研究言语科技和语音技术开发的最重要工具。在国际语言学的顶级学术期刊上(比如Linguistics, Phonetica, Journal of Semantics, Phonology, Mind and Language, Linguistic Inquiry, Speech Communication) 发表了大量论文,同时主持多个欧盟及其他地区重大高端科研项目,负责编辑了第一本非线性音系学专著,并负责编辑了关于世界上主要20 种语言语调的研究著作。在很多国际学术组织中担任重要职务,是Speech Prosody (国际言语韵律) 学术组织的创始人,并一直担任主席要职。
