Luise von Flotow教授是当今国际女性主义翻译与后殖民主义翻译研究的先驱，也是当今国际翻译研究领域的领军人物之一，研究领域广泛涉及了翻译与性别、翻译与身份认同、翻译与文化外交等诸多议题，许多著述极大地推动了当今国际翻译理论与批评研究的发展进程。

Ongoing research

The objective of this research project isto trace and describe the movement of Canadian writing (fiction andnon-fiction) into Latin America viatranslation. It examines the scope of this cultural transfer, the trajectoriesalong which it moves, the agents and networks that promote it, and the imagesof Canadacirculated as a result.  (Co-researchers are Marc Charron (Ottawa) and Hugh Hazelton(Concordia.) SSHRC-funded)
