Prof. Dr. Arvi Sepp is currently Professor in German Literature and Culture at the University of Antwerp and in Translation Studies and German at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). He was awarded the Fritz Halbers Fellowship Award (Leo Baeck Institute), the Tauber Institute Research Award (Brandeis University), the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture Award, and the Prix de la Fondation Auschwitz. His research interests center on comparative literature, twentieth-century German (Jewish) literature, literary translation, migration and exile, etc.

Arvi Sepp教授，安特卫普大学与布鲁塞尔自由大学德语系与翻译系教授，发表了《移民文学叙事的翻译》等重要著作。他获得过奥斯维辛基金会的Jacques Rosenberg奖，美国的Tauber研究所奖等。主要研究兴趣为比较文学，20世纪德国文学，文学翻译，移民与流放等

Prof. Dr. Philippe Humblé is Professor of Spanish Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). He is the author of ‘Dictionaries and Language Learners’ (2001), on the use of electronic dictionaries. In recent years he has focused his research on translations in the context of migration, exile and interculturality. Publications on this topic are in preparation. Together with Julie Deconinck, Arvi Sepp and Hélène Stengers he published ‘Transcultural Awareness in Translation Pedagogy ‘(2017) and with Arvi Sepp ‘Bearing Across: Translating Literary Narratives of Migration’ (2016).

Philippe Humblé教授，布鲁塞尔自由大学西班牙语翻译系与跨文化交际专业教授，他发表了《词典与语言学系者》等重要著作。他主要研究的领域为移民文学、跨文化翻译研究等。近期研究成果有《翻译教学中的跨文化意识》以及《移民文学叙事与翻译》等。

讲座内容介绍

移民现象遍布于各个社会与文化中，古往今来屡见不鲜。在本次讲座中，我们着眼于移民活动的社会现实性与重要性，考察移民在文学中的表征和在翻译中的表征。我们试图表明，文学对语言差异的呈现既瓦解了民族国家的语言意识形态，又在文本中充分显示语言文化上的跨界活动。我们将从社会史的语境来分析移民文学中的多语共存现象和跨文化性，为此我们将考察多位作家的生平，并在文学与翻译研究这两个方面展现他们的写作纲领。
