On the morning of November 2nd, HUANG Lihe, Vice Secretary of CPC SFS, and related personnel went to Sinopharm Healthcare Co., Ltd. for investigation and research to promote the integration of production and education and deepen the connections between schools and enterprises. Besides, they engaged in discussions with General Manager XU Yafeng, Vice-general Manager LIU Xiaohong and other management personnel of the company, especially on how to cooperate in the areas of population aging, integration of production and education, education through practice and so forth.
XU Yafeng, General Manager of this company, gave a brief introduction on its main business, digital empowerment for elderly care, development of talents in the aging industry, etc. HUANG Lihe introduced SFS’s academic research, talent cultivation and social services in the fields of linguistic methodology and country studies on how to tackle the aging problems. Mr. Xu spoke highly of the achievements made by Tongji University and social benefits in the above fields in recent years. He also expressed his desire to establish a closer cooperative relationship with the university, thus promoting the integration of production and education, transformation of achievements and talent cultivation in related fields. Both parties agreed to sign an agreement, promoting the implementation of Tongji University-Sinopharm Healthcare Innovative Practice Base on Industry-Education Integration.
ZHANG Junyan, Senior Product R&D Manager, PAN Jing, Training Supervisor, and DING Bei, Product R&D Specialist of Sinopharm Healthcare, had in-depth discussions with LI Weiwei from Office of Student Affairs, YANG Yaoting from Office of Academic Affairs of SFS as well as some core members of Tongji University-Research Center for Ageing, Language and Care. They mainly focused on the intervention program on digital language learning, the base construction of the Industry-Education Integration, and the internship and employment of the students.
Before the meeting, teachers and students from School of Foreign Studies also visited Digital Industry Innovation Research Center of Sinopharm Healthcare, which is known to be the only professional company devoting to the healthcare under Sinopharm Group Co.,Ltd. As one of the world top 500 companies and the core enterprise of Sinopharm, Sinopharm Group is the only central enterprise directly administered by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with health as its main focus. The research is one of the specific initiatives of the leading organs at all levels of the Party and government to implement special projects of visiting enterprises and promoting employment by the Ministry of Education.
