围绕语言教育与人工智能跨学科关系,重点研究 “自主智能学习”问题,探索语言、认知、智能等领域协同创新的基础理论、资源建设、技术研发及应用服务。聚合语言、心理、认知、计算机、人工智能等方面专家,开 展“人工智能+”的跨界研究,致力于发展“自主智能语言学习”,在资源建设与研究、语言学研究、语料库翻译学、机器翻译、口译质量自动评估、智能语言教育(英语、德语、对外汉语、以及“一带一路”沿线国家语言) 等领域开展合作,促进人工智能时代的一流外语学科建设 与发展。
开发智能英语学习系统融合人工智能、大数据、认知科学,以中国人英语学习的独特视角,打造具有革命性颠覆影响的自主学习交互系统,包括口语、交传、和同传自动评测系统三大各自独立,又循序渐进的集成模块。
Focusing on the interdisciplinary relationship between language education and artificial intelligence, the Academy studies “automated intelligent learning” in terms of its theoretical framework, resource construction, technology development and application services for collaborative innovation in the fields of language, cognition and artificial intelligence. It pools expertise in language, psychology, cognition, computer science, and artificial intelligence to undertake the “AI+” interdisciplinary studies. The Academy is committed to developing “AI language learning” and collaborating in resource construction, linguistics, corpus-based translation studies, machine translation, automated assessment of interpretating quality, as well as AI language education (English, German, Chinese as a foreign language, and languages of the “Belt and Road” countries). All these eorts seek to bolster first-class foreign language disciplines and to embrace the era of artificial intelligence.
The AI English Learning System (AIELS) is a revolutionary interactive platform that integrates artificial intelligence, big data, and cognitive science to create a unique perspective on English learning for Chinese, comprising the Automated Speech Evaluation System (ASES), the Automated Consecutive Interpreting Evaluation System (ACIES), and the Automated Simultaneous Interpreting Evaluation System (ASIES).
